Blogging Tools

Note: This page contains affiliate links. Any commission I earn comes at no additional cost to you. But I never recommend tools, or resources that I don’t use, and love. Promise.

Here is a collection of some of the best tools I have found online that will help you grow and manage your online business. These are the tools that I use, like, and trust. I have found great success using these resources on my site.

If I didn’t think these tools would help you in your own business, they would not have made it to this page. As I test new tools and resources that I find useful, I will add them to this list so that you can take advantage of and benefit from them!

HOSTING

BlueHost: This is a budget-friendly hosting service I use and highly recommend. They offer unlimited hosting space, a free domain name for your first site, great customer service, and a 99.9% uptime guarantee for your website. You can host all your sites for just a few bucks per month.

WEBSITE SOFTWARE

WordPress: WordPress is used by millions of people all over the world. From fortune 500 companies to your typical blogger. This software provides a great framework for your website and is what I use to run this site.

THEME

I recommend the Divi theme from Elegant Theme. It is the theme I use for this site. It doesn’t require you to have any WordPress coding experience or website-building skills because you can easily choose from its 100+ Site Packs. It is therefore easy for beginners to pick it up and create unique layouts.

KEYWORD RESEARCH

To rank on Google and stay ahead of your competition, I recommend using Semrush. This powerful SEO tool gives you all the key data you’ll need for a successful SEO project as it allows you to get a deeper look at your competitors as well as at the keywords that they get most of their traffic for.

EMAIL SERVICE PROVIDER

For the capturing software, I recommend that you use ConvertKit and you will be fine. These guys have a free plan of up to 1000 subscribers. I am sure if you manage to get 1000 subscribers, you will be able to make enough money to upgrade. There is zero investment there.

GRAPHICS AND DESIGNS

For high-quality graphics, I use and recommend Canva. This tool is beginner-friendly and will help you design attractive graphics quickly and easily.  It has so many features, yet it only comes at a bargain price of $12.95 per month. Even the free version has a lot to offer.

SOCIAL MEDIA SCHEDULER

Tailwind is my go-to tool as far as Pinterest marketing is concerned. It allows me to create my own pins, pins from Instagram or directly from Pinterest. This powerful tool also displays a scheduled calendar so it is very easy to see what and how one is scheduling.

ANALYTICS

Google Analytics: This is a great analytics tool for finding out where your traffic is coming from, how often they visit, what they find important, and when they leave. It offers much other analytics as well but I figured I’d keep it simple. Check it out for yourself.

EDITING

Grammarly is a tool that uses both industrial and contextual technology. That is why you will find out that it can quickly correct grammar errors. It offers many other features as well but I figured I’d keep it simple. Check it out for yourself. It makes your life easier as a writer and publisher.

SEO

I tried many SEO plugins and Rank Math Pro is the best. It is so easy to use and it has a ton of features. I use it every day and my rankings are always improving!
